Female mosquitoes seeking blood to feed the eggs in their abdomen, detect the presence of CO2 molecules in the air, acids released by the skin and the breathing of their prey. Releasing CO2 and a copy of these acids, each of the Trap-Module is connected to a common Control Center, and will create a “corridor” in which it will retain and catch mosquitoes attempting to move towards the protected area. The pace and intensity of CO2 diffusion, monitored by a Programming and Control Unit, is personalized to the protected zone’s actual need. This insures the best user protection, maximizes mosquito elimination and limits CO2 consumption.
